The 2023 NHL offseason has seen very little action in the trade market so far. In this episode, James and Kyle solve that problem. They become GMs for a day and make some action happen. They solve Toronto's salary cap woes. They continue Chicago's, Philadelphia's, and San Jose's rebuilds. They begin rebuilds/retools in Calgary and Winnipeg. Finally, they take steps to dramatically improve Boston's, Buffalo's, Carolina's, Detroit's, Edmonton's, and Pittsburgh's rosters, with Seattle in the mix too.

They focus particularly on the Atlantic division and Metro division while hitting on Anaheim and Arizona who were two of the more surprisingly active teams outside those divisions.
